Turn Rate Report

Your employee role must have the Reports permission to access reports. See "Roles & Permissions" for more information.

Run the Turn Rate report to view a breakdown of each unit's monthly Turn Rate, or the number of times in a month that it was used on closed agreements.

Criteria for inclusion

A unit is included in this report if it was active during the report period. To be considered active, a unit must not have had the Removed From Fleet status at any point in the report period. (At locations with automated fleet import, the Pending Import Details and Removed From Pending Import statuses also prohibit a unit from being considered active.)

Running the report

  1. On the Reports dialog, select Turn Rate from the list of system reports and select a month, if different from the default (current month).
  2. Click RUN REPORT. See "Understanding results" in this topic for help with interpreting your report results.
  3. (Optional.) Customize your report for optimal viewing. See "Customizing Viewing Options" in this topic for more information.
  4. To export results to a Microsoft Excel file (.xlsx), click EXCEL.

Customizing Viewing Options

Reports are customizable to fit your viewing preferences. You can adjust this report in all of the following ways:

To group your report results, select an option from the Select Group By list, which contains all columns in the report by which to group. To ungroup results, change your selection back to Select.

By default, all columns are included in your report results. To hide a report column, click the Column Settings icon () > Columns, and select the column's check box.

To reorder columns, click and drag column headers left or right. To expand the size of a column, hover your cursor to the right of the column, and click and drag to increase or decrease the column's width.

The breakdown of agreements is sorted by Agreement Number, by default. The breakdown of transactions per agreement is sorted by Transaction Date, by default.

To sort results by a column, you can either:

  • Click the column header once to automatically sort results in ascending order (); click the header again to sort in descending order (); click the column header a third time to remove the sort. If no arrow is present in a column header, results are not sorted by that column.
  • Click the Column Settings icon () and select Sort Ascending or Sort Descending.

  1. Click the Column Settings icon () > Filter. Use the lists to indicate the criteria by which you want to filter results, and enter the value to be used for comparison.
  • For numeric values: Indicate whether you want to view results that are greater than or equal to, equal to, or less than or equal to a certain value.
  • For alphabetical values: Indicate whether you want to view a subset that starts with, contains, does not contain, ends with, or is equal to a certain value.
  1. To add more criteria, select AND or OR from the list. Then repeat the above steps using the second set of fields to type another value for comparison.
  2. Click Filter.

To export results to a Microsoft Excel file (.xlsx), click EXCEL.

Understanding results

Your location's average daily fleet size, total number of closed agreements, and average fleet turn rate are displayed in the totals row at the bottom of the report.

The report displays all items on one page, by default. On the bottom of the report, you can choose to view a limited number of items per page, navigate to the next page of results (), and refresh your report results ().

Key Report Columns

Column Description
VIN VIN of the unit.
Unit Number Unit Number of unit.
Year Year of the unit.
Make Make of the unit.
Model Model of the unit.
In Service Date Service Start Date from the unit record.
Out of Service Date If the unit was removed from the fleet, the Service End Date from the unit record.
Number of Agreements The number of closed agreements in the reporting period, excluding shuttle agreements, to which the unit was assigned.
Average Turn Rate The unit's Turn Rate during the reporting period. Because this report's results include a single month, the Turn Rate matches the number of closed agreements, excluding shuttle agreements, to which the unit was assigned.
Totals row
Total Agreements The total number of closed agreements, excluding shuttle agreements, to which all your units were assigned.
Average Daily Fleet Size The average daily number of active units in your fleet (VIN count) over the reporting period.

Average Fleet Turn Rate

 Your fleet's average Turn Rate.

Calculation: Total Agreements ÷ Average Daily Fleet Size, rounded to two decimal places
